Firefighting as a career...pursuing excellence

Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services (VFRS) and the Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) Fire & Safety Division are looking for dynamic and diverse Men and Women to join their teams. Firefighting is a challenging career that requires people who thrive in a team atmosphere, are self-motivated, physically fit, enjoy working with others and are determined to succeed in whatever they do. If these are your attributes and you are excited to serve your community, this is the career for you!

VFRS & JIBC will be hosting an Information Session in Kelowna, BC:

Registration for the Information Session is open to the public. This session will provide valuable data about VFRS and the JIBC, advice on pursuing a career as a Fire Fighter and much more. This session will include a Q&A component with Chiefs and Officers in attendance, as well as power point and video material.
